A sweet mother and son moment from today’s session with the Brane family…

I remember when my little girl turned one. We woke up from being inside and went outside and sat in the warmth and I watched her play. I listened to her squeal while I inhaled the smell of summer and freshly cut grass while feeling that feeling of happiness and sadness that she will… grow up. I watch her simple nothings that are simply everything and I will be so ever grateful that my love of her photos will be documenting those ordinary nothings that she does so that I will remember.

I just love documenting this age… and I will let these next couple of images show you why.

Tiny feet, so very small.

with ten little toes in all.

Soon I will learn to walk with them

as soon as I get a steady stand,

Listen to the pitter patter of my feet,

this sound through the house

surely can’t be beat,

A little each day, my feet will grow,

and someday soon, outside I will go.

So catch me now and save my prints,

for tomorrow will come and off I will sprint!

This little cutie was such a doll. Oh I just just love this age, they are so full of personality and expressions that I just adore.

I love babies, LOVE.  While I love photographing all children, there is just nothing like a new baby, so pure and new. I had the honor of photographing Chloe and she was a doll so sweet and just… perfect.

Caitlyn lives down the street from us. She is always happy and so much fun to be around. My little ones adore  her also. Here are a couple quick snaps I got of her the other day while we were outside playing…
