Hi, I’m Stacy - the artist behind Bare Baby Photography. I opened Bare Baby Photography in 2010 after becoming a mother myself and realizing just how quickly these moments disappear.
The tiny newborn stretches, sleepy smiles, flaky skin, curled-up poses, they change in what feels like the blink of an eye. I remember holding photographs of my own babies and realizing they were more than images. They were a way to hold onto a season of life that moves far too quickly. That feeling is what inspired me to build Bare Baby Photography nearly two decades ago. Today, I specialize in luxury maternity, newborn, and baby photography for families throughout Columbus, Ohio, Granville, New Albany, Dublin, Westerville, Powell, and surrounding areas. My work is known for its soft, timeless, and artistic style, creating images that feel refined, emotional, and beautifully simple without heavy props or trendy editing that quickly goes out of style. Over the years, I’ve completed extensive private newborn training and mentorships with some of the most respected newborn photographers in the industry, refining both my artistic approach and advanced newborn posing and safety techniques. With nearly 17 years of experience photographing babies, I understand not only how to create beautiful imagery, but also how to create a calm, baby-led experience where new parents can truly relax. My goal has always been to offer more than just photographs. From the moment you book, every detail is thoughtfully planned for you - from access to a carefully curated studio wardrobe for mothers and babies to gentle posing guidance and a relaxed session experience designed around your family. I want you to feel taken care of from beginning to end. I’m also incredibly honored that my work has been trusted by families throughout Ohio, including professional athletes, physicians, business owners, and hundreds of returning families who continue to document each new chapter with me. Bare Baby Photography has been recognized as one of the top newborn photography studios in the Columbus area for years, and my work has been featured by brands and publications including Pottery Barn Kids, Starbucks, Inspire Me Baby, and more. Outside of photography, I’ve been married to my husband for over 20 years, and together we have three children: Mallory, Ryan, and Evelyn. Our oldest recently graduated and is heading to The Ohio State University this fall - a season of life that has reminded me all over again just how quickly childhood passes. I truly love serving families throughout Columbus and the surrounding communities. These moments matter deeply to me because I know firsthand how fleeting they are. And it’s an incredible honor every single time a family trusts me to preserve them.
