I absolutely love intimate and moody maternity sessions, but they still need to have a softness to them, it’s all about the art of the edit and mood of the lighting. I had to much fun photographing Elvis and Alessandra Merzlikins maternity session. Elvis is the goalie for the Columbus Blue Jackets, of course our favorite goalie. Aleksandra and I worked together to bring her vision to life. She is a Switzerland beauty and very familiar with Russian styles. It just so happened that I had actually fallen in love with that style and had spent several months learning from a few celebrity Russian photographers to learn this technique.
In February of this year I will be opening my brand new 1600 sf luxury studio.
